What this covers

These terms apply only to your use of contextos.tech. They do not apply to apps built on ContextOS (OrderHubX, IntelliTeli, FactoryHubX, OpsSignal, or any future app); each of those is a separate product on its own domain with its own terms of service.

contextos.tech is a approach and marketing site. There is no account to register, nothing to buy, and no service-level commitment to make.

Use of this site

You're free to read, link to, and quote from this site. You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the site's operation
  • Misrepresent yourself when using the contact form
  • Republish substantial portions of the site without attribution (see License below)

License — the approach is open

Methods and ideas can't be copyrighted. The way this site articulates them can. We license the articulation generously:

  • Site prose, paper, manifesto, and diagrams — published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You may share, adapt, and use the content (including for commercial purposes) provided you give appropriate credit to Umento Pte Ltd and link back to contextos.tech.
  • Code samples and starter templates we publish here are licensed under MIT.
  • Naming — "ContextOS" is the name we use for the approach articulated on this site. We do not hold a registered trademark on the name, and we don't claim exclusive rights to it — other projects and writers may use the same word for unrelated things. We ask only that you use it in good faith: to describe software that genuinely follows this approach, not to label your own unrelated product as ContextOS or to imply that Umento endorses it. The "Built on ContextOS" badge is provided for self-attesting use; please don't modify the badge artwork.

The Built on ContextOS badge

If your application implements the approach, you're welcome to display the "Built on ContextOS" badge. It is self-attesting — we do not audit, certify, or endorse the use. Don't display the badge for products that don't substantively follow the approach; misuse erodes the meaning of the badge for everyone else.

External links

This site links to other sites (apps built on ContextOS, third-party tooling, references). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or terms.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind. Information here may be updated, corrected, or removed without notice. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umento Pte Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of contextos.tech, including any reliance you place on the content here. If something said here turns out to be wrong, the remedy is correction, not damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Singapore.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top reflects the current version. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
